Pin headers

The Pin headers of Summit Electronics are electromechanical components used for the electric circuit that can be connected in blocked and isolated part. It is as a bridge which can transfer current and signals. The pin headers are used with female headers, also known as socket headers - so that board to board connection can be made. The Summit Pin headers are available in different pitches, such as: 1.0mm, 1.27mm, 2.0mm and 2.54mm.

The main mounting type includes SMT mount and THT mounting connectors. Surface Mount Technology connectors are known for faster assembly than THT or Through hole technology connectors, where the components needs to be inserted into holes drilled in the Printed Circuit Boards (PCB).

Summit’s pin headers are available in straight pin headers, right angle pin headers and SMT pin headers. The quantity of pins varies from 1, 2 or 3 pins to 64 pins per header. The pin headers are single row or dual row. All the pin headers of Summit electronics are designed in accordance with CE, ROHS and REACH standard.
