Bluetooth® Multimedia Development Kit – LM558
The LM558 can be used with our LM746 Audio Module which offer a range of Audio functionality and can be used with other Multimedia functions.
Bluetooth® Multimedia Development Kit – LM558 is ideal for evaluating the LM746 audio module as it provides access to: Serial port, PIO, LED Indications, Analog IO and PCM/I2S interface.
Battery pads are available for connecting an external battery and Jumper connections allow easy configuration and to use the Bluetooth® Multimedia Development kit in different modes.
It can also be used to evaluate different firmware revisions – AT Command, PIO, A2DP Speakers etc. All of which can be upgraded via SPI or USB from the Bluetooth® Multimedia Development Kit. Please ask our development team before purchasing so that we can supply your module of choice along with the Bluetooth® Multimedia Development Kit.

The headset application is Bluetooth complaint, supporting the headset profile (HSP), advance audio distribution profile (A2DP) and audio/video remote control (AVRCP). This defines the way the LM746 receives audio streaming from a connected device. It also enables basic control functionality such as play pausing music, asnwering-rejecting calls and adjusting the volume. This makes it the perfect solution for manufacturing wireless head phones.
Audio Gateway with AT commands, ATCom_0105
The AT commands structure application contains the audio gateway hands free profile (AGHFP). AGHFP allows the LM746 module to be the source of the audio stream for the connected device to output. The application also provides AT commands for the bluetooth connection. Serial data is transmitted with the serial port profile (SPP). Users can read, write or modify data on the connected devices by utilising simple AT commands.
