Interface USB <> RS232 Interface Cable 2
The interface cable allows connecting of RS232 devices to your system by converting an existing USB port into a serial port. The complete interface with its electronics disappears into the DB9 plug on the cable.

Application:
For years the RS232 interface has been established as a proven interface for connecting serial terminal devices over short and medium distances. In order to be able to use this reliable standard into the future, Wiesemann & Theis offers the USB<>RS232 Interface Cable 2 as a converter in the form of two meters of connection cable which enables connecting your RS232 devices even to computers which do not provide a serial interface.
The converter fulfils the industrial noise immunity standard specification EN61000-6-2 and the emission standard specification EN55022B. For that reason, despite its miniature design and its attractive price, the interface cable can be deployed without restriction not only in the industrial environment but also in the office domain.
