Ultra-Low Power Audio CODEC
The TSCS25xx is a low-power, high-fidelity integrated CODEC with 32-bit stereo playback / stereo record functionality with integrated stereo true capless headphone amplifiers. The two digital audio data interfaces (I2S / LJ / RJ) supports both master or slave modes for delivery of Linear PCM, without the need for an MCLK. Bluetooth PCM data format is also supported.
For high-fidelity for audio accessories, the device offers an enriched “audio presence” through the built-in audio output processor (AOP) DSP engine. The AOP supports up to 12 Bands of Stereo Parametric EQ, Psychoacoustic Bass Enhancement, High-Frequency Restoration for compressed audio content, a 3D Stereo Enhancement, Wideband DRC, a “pro-style” Multiband Compressor/Limiter/Expander all of which enable the OEM/ODM to clearly differentiate their product.
