Apex Microtechnology, an industry leader in precision power analog technologies, announced today the expansion of their Precision IC product line. Previously comprised of nine linear amplifier ICs and four driver and sensor ICs, the product family now includes a new device: an 8-channel driver. The new device complement Apex’s existing line of ICs, which provide supply voltages of up to 350V and feature multi-channel architectures.
“Apex Microtechnology continues to push the boundaries of innovation in the power analog industry,” says Jens Eltze, Director of Business Development at Apex Microtechnology. “With this launch, we are responding to the increased market demand for advanced capabilities in smaller packages. Our latest Precision ICs are designed to face the challenges of miniaturizing next-gen systems, enabling our customers to develop smaller, more efficient systems without compromising performance. This expansion of our portfolio not only enhances our existing hybrid offerings but also provides cost-effective solutions tailored for a diverse range of applications.” With the addition of these device, Apex expands its offerings for high power, high precision requirements in applications such as; piezoelectric transduction, capacitive actuation, and LED drivers, among others.
AIC1513: 8-Channel Parallel High Voltage Driver
The AIC1513 is a rigid, low-cost general purpose high voltage driver IC with 8 high voltage push-pull outputs. The device has been designed for harsh industrial applications and allows a wide application area. The outputs can drive capacitive and resistive loads such as piezoelectric transducers, electroluminescent devices and micro-mechanical actuators. The maximum operating voltage is 300V, and each output can handle currents up to 40 mA.
