Boosters

Power booster amplifiers are designed to provide voltage and current gain for a small-signal, general purpose operational amplifier.

By using a power booster within the feedback loop of a driver amplifier, the resulting composite amplifier has the accuracy of the driver with the extended output voltage range and current capability of the booster. The booster can be used without a driver amplifier in some applications, requiring only an external current limit resistor to function properly.
